Welcome to St Mirren Youth Football Club...

Our charity’s aim is to put more volunteers into community football - that could be you - everyone has a strength or a skill!

Almost all grassroots clubs rely on volunteers, and most of them currently need more people to help out - especially us! Each new volunteer makes a huge difference – typically giving a club the capacity to welcome more members - or a new team!

Communities win by enabling youngsters find ways to play sport and live more active, healthier lifestyles. Volunteers also care about their local areas – they are more likely to feel pride, invest their time, and build trust in their football community.

St Mirren Youth Football Club need your help to run our squads locally.

Volunteers help more people get active and we recognise the huge value they contribute to happier, healthier neighbourhoods. Through new recruits - we match players and helpers to volunteering opportunities in our squads.

The first thing a prospective volunteer should consider is what they CAN do for the Club - NOT what we can do for you!

We need our volunteers to get involved in coaching, driving, organising our players to and from coaching sessions and fixtures. Essentially running the Club in all aspects = laundering the kit, fundraising for kit and equipment, managing our people, facilities, finances and digital services.
